Emett Casey is a filmmaker whose upcoming feature, “Well Of The Beast” tells the story of three radical poets’ trip to an unnamed South American town. Gene and Brodie chat with Emett about the movie, film school, Emett’s appearance in M.I.A.’s “Born Free,” our favorite movies and directors, Brodie’s role in “Well Of The Beast,” and Emett’s next project and its Kickstarter to raise funds for the budget. Also, the music of Green Screen Door, who you can find on Facebook, MySpace, and their track “Long Walk In An Industrial Countryside.”
I really enjoyed working on this film and with all the folks in front of and behind the camera! Please check out this episode of the podcast, and if you’re in L.A., come see the film at 8PM on Friday, September 30th, at Echo Park Film Center. ($5)
