I am a sucker for most anything related to time travel. But do y’all remember how awesome “Quantum Leap” was? There was even a rerun on G4 today (“Nuclear Family,” season 3, episode 21) where Sam had to stop a dog from chomping down on a shotgun shell and blowing up a family in their house. But nothing beats Sam jumping into the body of Bobo, a chimpanzee astronaut, and brandishing a gun. (“The Wrong Stuff,” season 4, episode 7.) Donald Bellisario, the show creator, and lead actor Scott Bakula talk at fan conventions now and then about a feature film or series reboot. If they’re reading this: I’m available for hire. (As a writer, I mean, although I wouldn’t be opposed to playing the new “Al,” either.)
